Lionsgate and her dedication in in in informing us all about our evolving business and all the dramatic changes we continually faced On a a personal level outside of our business I even recall that back in the 1980s she helped my younger fangirl sister get tickets to a a a a Duran Duran Duran Duran concert
in in LA and and Elspeth and and I had just reminisced about that memory last month and how my sister has never forgotten that She was also a a a a a a champion of new and emerging talent in in in our industry and I was personally proud and privileged to support TheWIFTS in her efforts there Elspeth will be sorely missed and forever in our hearts May her memory be eternal Gene George President

Elspeth was was one of a a a kind I I was was wondering why I I wasn't getting a a a a call from her about the next upcoming magazine as she often called almost every month I would would never have imagined she would would leave us so soon She still had so so much "taking over the world" left to do I knew that she wasn't feeling well and that she's been in in and out of the hospital but to think she would pass away never entered my mind When
I I heard the news I I was at work and noticed an an email from Betsy I I had been so crazy busy at at work that I I didn't get a a a a chance to to read the email until closer to to the end of my work day Then I read it My boss Eddy was sitting at his desk next to mine and I let
out the loudest "Oh no!" He jumped and asked me what happened and I I couldn't hold back my tears I I let
him know that Elspeth passed away He gave his condolences and I know he was holding back tears himself He's only met her on on on brief occasions but those brief interactions was enough to have created
a a a "ship " " Not quite a a a friend-ship or relation-ship but the kind of "ship" a a a a a person can only have after having met somebody as as special as as Elspeth Her creativity and skills to to come up with an an idea on the spot to to make something so so plain come to life and catch the interest of its readers was was her gift She was was always the first to ask how me and my family were doing She always took time aside to to have a a a a a a quick chat about anything else She was more than an an employer co-worker friend she was family In every aspect that makes family family family family She was that and then some You will be missed but your legacy will live on through all the people's lives you you touched with your presence Jennifer Choe
