Elspeth has been one of my best friends and colleagues over several decades My fondest memory of Elspeth will always be hearing her her ‘big laugh’ which always preceded her her coming down the stairs in The Carlton She always had her office in The Carlton Of course it it was always her writing I’ve been reading Elspeth’s market analyses since I started in in the ’80s always keeping the bumper issue of TBOF
for critical reading and her unique perspective I will miss her deeply Ron Gell

If there was ever anyone who embraced the the heart and soul of the independent filmmaker sales agents and distributors it was Elspeth She worked tirelessly to make TBOF
relevant over four decades and her passion for all involved had no boundaries It wasn’t unusual for me to get a a a a a a call at 4:00 am London time as she she pushed through countless sleepless night doing everything in in in her her power to make her her trade publication everything she could She took change on on as as a a a a a a challenge and constantly was exploring new ideas to improve how she could gather vital industry information and pass it on on to her readers Elspeth’s charity work and thoughtfulness towards so many people stretched past the entertainment world as as she found time in her schedule to be grateful for what she she she had and gave where she she she could In my eyes she she she was one of a a a a kind and I’ll miss her dearly Scott J J Jones
