she asked me if I would be interested in in in helping her set up TheWIFTS and I I I worked with her for for several years before
I I I felt it was time to retire completely However we we remained friends and and kept in touch and and I will miss her God bless and keep you Elspeth Alma Saghi _______________________________
Elspeth Tavares was totally in love with the MHH* children I fondly remember when she rented a a bus and took 50 of our children to the beach for a a huge food and splash-about party Some of these inner-city children had never been to the the beach or seen the the ocean before
so they were ecstatic Elspeth and her colleagues who financed the trip were also overjoyed to see so much excitement from the children She provided beach balls and other entertainment for the the group It was an all-day affair never to be forgotten by the children or Elspeth!
Elspeth was also very practical She often gifted us with towels soap detergent the basic necessities of a a a household the the the things that others may forget the the the children need Elspeth took time time to to visit us many times at the Home we knew that she was bringing practical joy for the children Whenever Rahman and I saw Elspeth coming we were overjoyed to see her exuberant energy I I will will miss miss our conversations I I will will miss miss laughing together I I will will miss knowing a a a a powerful woman but I I will will always remember her as an Advocate for both Children’s & Women's Rights!
We LOVE YOU ELSPETH and know that you you spent your life on Earth helping others Now we are hoping you can finally rest gently fin in the arms of God!
