Big Bad Boo Studios Continues To Produce Culturally
Inclusive Shows As Mixed Nutz Is Launched With A
Window On Amazon Prime Video Of 100m In The US

Shabnam Rezaei Shabnam Rezaei, founder and show producer at Big Bad Boo Studios, just prior to MIPTV have launched the company flagship show Mixed Nutz on the Amazon Prime Video, making the show available on demand to 100 Million Amazon prime members in the US alone. Targeted at the audience age group 5-8, the series comprises of 13 half-hour episodes. Rezaei commented: "We are very excited to launch to expose Mixed Nutz to even more kids and continue to produce inclusive shows that can be accessed on Amazon Prime in an ad-free and safe environment."
Mixed Nuts can also be seen in English, Persian, Arabic, and Hindi on Big Bad Boo Studios’ own SVOD platform Oznoz, created by the founding team to capitalize on the capabilities now available to independent companies in the worldwide marketplace.
Mixed Nutz Mixed Nutz follows a group of international kids; Sanjay, the Bollywood dreamer from Mumbai, Babak, the self-conscious kid from Iran, Damaris the superstitious bookworm from Cuba, Jae the hardworking and driven athlete from Korea, and Adele the eco-friendly inventor from Australia, as they live in Dyver-city and learn about each other’s similarities and differences. The voice over cast includes prominent Iranian-American actor and comedian Maz Jobrani.
Mixed Nutz has aired on 15 PBS Channels such as KCET SoCal, KCOS13 Texas, MindTV, Mhz Worldview, Gem TV, RPT Portugal, Shaw TV Canada among others. Among its awards are the Youth Media Alliance Canada Award of Excellence in Animation, Audience Choice Award at the Chashama Film Festival and Audience Choice Award at the New York Television Film Festival.
Big Bad Boo is currently in production on Season 3 of 1001 Nights, and Season 1 preschool series 16 Hudson.
The Big Bad Boo Studios team handles the sales of its productions and attends MIPCOM in fall.
