Beta Cinema Screens Promo Reel Of Colonia For Buyers
Colonia - Emma Watson
Currently in post-production and due to be released this fall, a promo reel of upcoming Colonia is being screened for buyers from Beta Cinema during Cannes. The $15 million thriller tells the story of Lena (Emma Watson) and Daniel (Daniel Bruehl), a young couple who become entangled in the Chilean military coup of 1973. Daniel is abducted by Pinochet's secret police to a sealed-off area called Colonia Dignidad, a place nobody ever escaped from. Colonia is a Majestic Filmproduktion in co-production with Iris Productions and Rat Pack Filmproduktion in co-operation with ProSieben and Sky.
Kellan Lutz To Star In The Feud Steven C. Miller
To Helm Action-Thriller From Film House Germany

Kellan Lutz will star in The Feud for Summerstorm Entertainment and Vandal Entertainment for director Steven C. Miller. Vandal Entertainment Founder Navid McIlhargey is producing alongside Film House Germany's and Summerstorm Entertainment CEO Gabriela Bacher. Highland Film Group (HFG) is handling sales and introducing the thriller to the marketplace place at Cannes.

Producers Navid McIlhargey and Gabriela Bacher said: "Kellan and Steven quickly established a strong rapport on the set of Extraction. They are sure to take The Feud, a clever action film about redemption, to a new level."

The Feud is the latest addition to the multi-faceted media company's robust slate. Film House Germany's current film slate includes: Jalmari Helander's Big Game starring Samuel L. Jackson, Atom Egoyan's Remember starring Christopher Plummer; and Bernard Rose's Frankenstein, starring Xavier Samuel, which was recently acquired in the US by Alchemy.

Lutz is represented by Ryan Daly at Zero Gravity Management and WME. Miller is repped by Charles Ferraro at UTA and Aperture Entertainment. Production on The Feud is scheduled to start this summer.

Dramatify Attends Cannes To Shake Up The Space
For Scripted Non-Scripted & Unscripted Content

Based in Stockholm and attending Cannes Film Festival for the first time, Dramatify is a bootstrapped start-up founded by serial female entrepreneurs and co-founders Annika Lidne (CEO) and Angelika Olsson (CTO).

Dramatify addresses the industry's need for a modern, internet-based solution that works on smart phones, tablets and computers. The company's solution addresses both the core production team's need for script management, team management, planning and scheduling as well as the entire team's access to messaging and shooting information.

Dramatify currently has over 800 users in more than 25 countries working with scripted, non-scripted and unscripted content. The company has also recently started to attract interest from animation studios. Dramatify develops new features closely with the industry and are currently finishing finalizing more advanced features for big drama productions before the company's commercial launch this fall.

Annika Lidne, CEO, said: "My background comes from a long and broad experience in media, internet, TV and film, advertising and publishing as an entrepreneur. Starting out at national Swedish Television, I've experienced most kinds of production, including feature films and TVCs, with a speciality in screenwriting." Apart from working with Dramatify, Lidne is published author and public speaker, and a senior advisory board member of SUP46, SUP46 (Start-Up People of Sweden), the biggest start-up hub in Sweden.

Co-founder Angelika Olsson is the CTO and lead developer. Also a serial entrepreneur as well as a former lead developer of Creuna, one of the biggest web agencies in Scandinavia, Olsson has not worked much with film and TV before Dramatify, but brings a solid knowledge of business systems and product management solutions from other industries.
