Evokes Essence Of Still Life
Beta Cinema is presenting ongoing sales of Nowhere Special, the new film by Uberto Pasolini. starring James Norton (pictured, right) to the international market at AFM following the acquisition of the worldwide sales rights. Nowhere Special marks the continuation of a partnership between German-based sales agent Beta Cinema and the esteemed filmmaker and producer after the collaboration on the Venice hit Still Life, featuring Eddie Marsan, and Machan, Pasolini’s debut as a director. Thorsten Ritter of Beta Cinemas comments: “’Still Life’ was a particularly joyful collaboration with many deserved awards and numerous sales and, most importantly, successful releases in many territories. Audrey Hepburn A Class Act
Impossible To & Never Replicated
During November, Intimate Audrey is a ‘bespoke’ exhibition on the life of Audrey, to celebrate her 90th birthday in her birth town of Bruxelles and her childhood and roots in the Netherlands created by her son, Sean Hepburn Ferrer. The exhibition takes place in the heart of Amsterdam at the Beurs van Berlage. Composed in a large part of unpublished photographs, it focuses entirely on the woman - not the icon. It’s the woman behind the legend who is “coming home.” It includes several hundred original and re-printed photographs, a limited amount of memorabilia, dresses and accessories, as well as her never before seen fashion drawings and humanitarian writings. A series of 12 poignant videos bring each chapter of her life to life. It starts in The Atrium -The tunnel structure is a transition from the outside world to the world of the expected icon which then opens the door into what lies ‘behind the silver screen.’ Scents intermingle with a haunting soundtrack of her voice from iconic moments of her life. All profits go to Eurordis - Rare Disease Europe.
