The Little Film Company Legacy Continues
Roy McAree Handling The Company’s
Library At AFM

L-R Ellen Little, The Litte Film Company, & Roy McAree Golden Media Group
Ellen Little, president of The Little Film Company, continues the legacy of the respected international sales and distribution company she created with her husband and business partner, Robbie Little.

The Little Film Company is offering three new films at AFM: the feature documentary One Note At A Time - in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, three musicians return to New Orleans determined to help Keep the Music Alive, only to face a multitude of issues including their own health, in the devastated city. Octav, the drama from Romanian director Serge Ioan Celebidachi, is a life-affirming story that celebrates the purity of childhood, friendship, love and the bitter-sweetness of nostalgia. Octav returns home to sell his childhood house. As he wanders through the estate, he re-lives joyful scenes from his childhood eventually finding answers to questions which have cast a shadow over his adult life. Hi-Lo Joe, written and directed by James Kermack - Joe is a struggling writer and comedian whose quick wit and good looks mean he has no trouble seducing women.

During AFM Roy McAree, President and owner of Golden Media Group, Robbie’s cousin and mentor, will be in The Little Film Company’s usual suite at the Loews Hotel (814) to meet with international buyers and clients. Roy will be selling The Little Film Company’s latest offerings and library of films, along with the Golden Media Group rights to over more than 2500 feature films and television series that it represents for producers.

Roy McAree said: “I am looking forward to meeting with the international buyers, some of whom I have known over the years, and to acquaint and reacquaint myself with others. This is an exciting time with Streaming now a major component in the distribution of films internationally. I am looking forward to greeting The Little Film Company clients on behalf of Ellen – who will be busy taking care of the business in the company’s home office.”
