Damiano Michieletto, Director of Intimissimi On Ice: A Legend Of Beauty

London-based Carnaby International has acquired and is selling at AFM the exclusive worldwide sales rights to the multi-million dollar music and ice-skating extravaganza, Intimissimi On Ice: A Legend of Beauty. Starring the extraordinary Italian tenor, Andrea Bocelli, the feature length special event is the fourth of this unique ice show, where opera, figure skating and fashion combine, filmed at The Arena Di Verona in Italy.

Andrew Loveday, joint CEO, Carnaby International added: “I’m proud to be working alongside such a talented team on this phenomenal special event. We’re excited to bring this into the market.”

A tribute to women, talent and beauty with femininity as its central muse, Intimissimi On Ice: A legend of Beauty is directed by Damiano Michieletto, one of the most distinguished talents in opera and theatre having made his mark across the world stages in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Salzburg and Sydney.

Damiano Michieletto said: "Working on this project with such amazing talent and people from all around the world was one of the highlights of my career. The beauty of this show and the amount of people who worked hard to make it happen is unlike anything I have ever seen in my career. We're thrilled to be working with Carnaby to bring this incredible production to audiences worldwide.”

Creative direction is again overseen by world renowned Olympic Games producer Marco Balich, with Giulia Mancini once again on board as the show’s original format creator. Scenic design and staging is overseen by Paolo Fantin, with choreography by Nathan Clarke and costume design by Italian fashion and influencer, Chiara Ferragni.

Making its return to the Arena of Verona, the theatre, the spell-binding vocals of legendary Italian maestro Andrea Bocelli is enhanced by the theatre’s acoustics who also narrates the live performances throughout the show. The music composition is overseen by John Metcalfe. .
Intimissimi On Ice Nymphs
Intimissimi On Ice: A legend of Beauty features some of the finest Olympic figure skating champions from around the world; including Japanese champion, Shizuka Arakawa, American ice-dancing duo Meryl Davis and Charlie White, and Canadian pair-skating duo, Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford.

A Legend of Beauty centres around the most famous women of Greek mythology – the protagonists of the same love and tragedy which colour contemporary life. Through their stories, the show celebrates femininity, with the world’s most talented musicians and athletes. Classic mythology in a modern key, the show will include Venus, Helen of Troy, Circe and Medusa. Opening with a stormy sea scape, the Greek goddess Aphrodite will emerge on a shell ready to embark on a journey through mythological worlds among lily ponds, luminous constellations, fervent battles and video games. The live show is nothing short of spectacular and, thanks to a renovated stage with a central rink similar to ancient Roman arenas, the audience will be able to enjoy a truly 360-degree experience.

A Legend of Beauty is sponsored by renowned Italian lingerie brand, Intimissimi.

Carnaby will be screening promo footage for buyers at the American Film Market (AFM).
